Print design
During my start as a graphic designer print is where it all began. I value organization, color, and white space in my layouts. The range of products I've designed is demonstrated in the examples below.
MissionCast bulletin insert
MissionCast is a weekly 2-3 minute video clip produced by the Office of Creative Ministries highlighting mission, services and justice work.
The bulletin is a promotional piece that was distributed at a yearly conference for churches to use back in their local congregations.
Missouri Conference folder
The executive leadership staff wanted a folder to package with promotional pieces such as brochures advertising conference ministries and programs.
Monkey Stitch logo
This small online children's clothing and accessory company wanted a new logo that is clean, kid friendly and professional.
Five Practices of Fruitful Congregations book cover
Bishop Robert Schnase wrote a book about five basic principles for effective ministry within congregations, and I designed the cover using an image of one of my paintings.
Business cards
Annually we offered five new business card designs for staff and pastors to order.
Healthy Church Initiative brochure
The Healthy Church group goes into local church congregations to evaluate their strengths, weaknesses and suggests how they can improve.
The brochure explains the process of what they do in detail, a timeline of events, and two different options of methodology they can choose from.
Center for Pastoral Excellence brochure
The Pastoral Excellence team works to bring quality learning events, support and training to pastors.
The brochure outlines their goals and team members.
The Review newspaper
The Review features news from Missouri's United Methodist Churches, as well as national and world stories of the UMC. It is published and mailed to subscribers every two weeks, and also available as a digital edition.
I was in charge of layout, design, and proofing for the August 14, 2009 issue.
